Cantisorb- A High-Throughput Screening Platform for CO2 Capture Materials

Direct Applicability to Industry: Requirements for the reduction of CO2 emissions from coal-fired power plants necessitate more cost-effective methods and technologies for carbon capture and storage.

Nature of Problem: The cost of carbon capture and storage is very high using current technology.  New materials and methods are needed to reduce the costs and increase efficiency.

Financial and Environmental Impact: Less CO2 emission, with less cost to the producer is a desirable outcome that will have positive financial and environmental impacts.
